Energy & Climate

AmCham Germany monitors legislative developments in German environmental policy and the implementation of European legislation in Germany, engaging in the political debates related to this topic. In the context of the German Energiewende and hence the transition to renewable energy, the Energy & Climate Committee focuses specifically on energy strategies and on AmCham Germany’s contribution to a sustainable, stable and competitive energy policy in Germany. We also monitor the transition of the US energy system and emphasize the importance of transatlantic research cooperation in the fields of environmental and energy issues, with a specific focus on green energy sources.
