Berlin, November 29, 2018 - AmCham Germany's Tax Committee met with Johannes Höfer, Leiter Referat IA5 Steuerpolitik at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, and Dr. Wendelin Staats, Leiter Referat IV B5 Internationale Unternehmensbesteuerung und Außensteuerrecht at the Federal Ministry of Finance. The Committee, chaired by Felix Hierstetter, GE Deutschland, discussed the following topics with its guests: Proposal for EU Digital Services Tax Directive, Brexit StBG, Property Tax Reform, current developments with regard to Country-by-Country-Reporting, as well as tax incentives for research and development.
