On January 22nd, the AmCham Germany Social & Labor Affairs Committee met with Thomas Heilmann, CDU/CSU-Parliamentary Group, and with Dr. Christian Raskob, Head of Department DA 3, Fundamental Aspects of Working Time Arrangements and the Reconciliation of Work and Private Life.
The discussion focussed on ideas on how to best facilitate life-long learning and which role both governments and the private sector can assume to foster and enhance continuous education in the workforce. Furthermore, committee participants discussed how to bridge the gap between the changing of work environments and labor regulations.
