Eschborn, March 14, 2017 AmCham Germany’s Entrepreneurship Committee met with Hauke Stars, Member of the Executive Board, Deutsche Börse AG, and her colleagues, to discuss Deutsche Börse's new segment for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) „Scale“. Furthermore, the exchange ofideas focused on the framework for growth funding and the startup ecosystem in Germany.AmCham Germany had raised the need for improving the framework for IPOs in Germany in its Position Statement on Entrepreneurship in 2016 and sees Deutsche Börse’s initiative as an encouraging step forward, although more should follow.
