Discussion on the implications of implementing the National Action Plan for Business and Human Rights (NAP)

Berlin, May 23, 2017: Members of AmCham Germany's Corporate Responsibility Committee met with Joachim Steffens, Leiter Referat VD2 - Subsahara Afrika, Agrarpolitik, BMWi and Paul Noll, Stellv. Leiter Europäische Union und Internationale Sozialpolitik, BDA, to discuss the intended measures for implementing the National Action Plan for Business und Human Rights. Adopted in December 2017 by the Federal Cabinet, the NAP seeks to implement the UN's guiding principles on business and human rights in business activities of German companies and their global value and supply chains.
