Frankfurt/M. On February 5, 2016, AmCham Germany's Corporate and Business Law Committee met with Andrew Keller, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counter Threat Finance and Sanctions of the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs at Mayer Brown's offices in Frankfurt am Main.

Mr. Keller gave an "Update on U.S. Sanctions with special focus on Iran", a subject of great interest which attracted quite a number of participants. The members of the committee addressed and submitted a variety of practical problems and issues that different industries face, e.g., the finance and the chemical industry.
