The Future of Mobility

Expert Webinar with Enterprise Holdings

On March 11, Enterprise Holdings and AmCham Germany hosted a joint Expert Webinar on re-inventing mobility in the era of disruption.

Enterprise is an ongoing American success story. Founded in 1957 by Jack Taylor, today Enterprise is the largest transportation solutions provider with 9,500,000 locations worldwide and America’s 13th largest privately owned company.

Jason Altman, Corporate Vice President, and Niels Rathsmann, Assistant Vice President and Member of the Management Board, both Enterprise Holdings Germany, provided a broad audience of AmCham Germany members with first-hand information on how the long-established company  continues to adjust to a changing mobility landscape.

The two speakers vividly showcased how Enterprise embraces a novel concept of meeting the consumers’ need for practical solutions, at the same time taking an active role in a more sustainable future. “We are practical futurists,” Jason proclaimed. Niels outlined new solutions that integrate all methods of travel, the so-called Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) product, and emphasized that next to developing the digital infrastructure, mobility hubs as the necessary physical infrastructure are growing. Overall both speakers emphasized the overarching goal of Enterprise, which is to be the best mobility service provider in the world.

Under the slogan Re-think the old Models, Enterprise thrives to foster innovation by integrating all mobility sectors - owned and shared – by building a strong partnership between the private and public sector. Taking care of customers, communities, employees, and the environment is not only smart for their business, the two experts underlined, but it makes the world a better place for future generations.

The informative presentation provoked many questions and the briefing was rounded up by a Q&A session with the audience.
