On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, AmCham Germany’s Regional Chair Cologne in the Chapter North Rhine-Westphalia hosted a forum on the U.S. Midterm Elections 2022 – Quo Vadis, Uncle Sam?

The event was kicked off by an opening statement from Dr. Hermann Knott, AmCham Germany Chair Cologne, Regional Chapter North Rhine-Westphalia, and was followed by welcome remarks from Gudrun Grosse, Head of Countries and Markets at IHK Köln, and Amadeus von Lier, Foreign Investment Advisor at KölnBusiness Wirtschaftsförderungs-GmbH.

In a lively discussion with an interested audience, journalist Erik Kirschbaum outlined the concerns of the electorate, the likely consequences of the outcome for the Presidential Elections in 2024 and the impact on European partners as well as the global economic system.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to our event sponsor and host, KölnBusiness Wirtschaftsförderungs-GmbH and IHK Köln for making this event a great success.
