Around 90 guests from various industries gathered on November 24, 2022, to celebrate Thanksgiving and enjoy traditional Thanksgiving dishes and lively conversations.
Regional Chapter Chair David Knower welcomed the guests and shared his memories of celebrating Thanksgiving in the U.S. This was followed by a speech from Consul General Norman Thatcher Scharpf, who reflected on his early childhood Thanksgiving traditions and put an emphasis on what Thanksgiving means to him and his family. Afterwards, the carving of the turkey was accompanied by a speech from Liam Healy from Diligent Corporation, one of the event partners of this evening, who showed gratitude for all the blessings in life, thus giving true meaning to the spirit of THANKS-giving.
