Traditional Fourth of July Celebration in Kronberg

Speakers: AmCham Germany President Simone Menne, U.S. Consul General Norman Thatcher Scharpf and Regional Chapter Rhine-Main Chair David Knower

On Monday, July 4, AmCham Germany's Regional Chapter Rhine-Main hosted its traditional celebration of the U.S. Independence Day at the Schlosshotel Kronberg.

AmCham Germany’s Regional Chapter Chair of Rhine-Main, David Knower, kicked off the event by welcoming the over 190 AmCham Germany members, friends, and families who gathered to celebrate one of the most important days in the history of the United States.

The celebration was followed by opening remarks and a keynote speech from AmCham Germany President Simone Menne and U.S. Consul General Norman Thatcher Scharpf. The event featured the Presentation of Colors by the U.S. Marine Corps and the singing of the U.S. National Anthem.

Besides mingling over great food and drinks while surrounded by breathtaking nature and many of the empress’ original antiques and paintings, participants had a chance to win free tickets for a Frankfurt Galaxy American Football match by taking a quiz about the U.S.

We would like to thank our sponsors and guests who made this event a memorable evening.
