On Monday, July 27, AmCham Germany’s Regional Chapter Bavaria welcomed members and guests to its Summer Barbecue, hosted on the terrace of KPMG in Munich.
The evening opened with welcome remarks by Angelika Huber-Strasser of KPMG, followed by greetings from Glenn Schmidt, Regional Chapter Co-Chair Bavaria, and Daniel Andrich, General Manager of AmCham Germany. Guests also had the pleasure of hearing remarks from Timothy Liston, former U.S. Consul General in Munich, who shared his perspective on the transatlantic relationship.
A highlight of the program was a conversation between Dr. Florian Dötzer, Managing Director of TUM Venture Lab Aerospace, and Tiffany Valeriano of KPMG. Their discussion explored Munich’s dynamic defense and aerospace ecosystem and the evolving role of the transatlantic partnership in shaping its future.
Following the program, guests enjoyed a relaxed summer evening featuring barbecue, networking, and lively conversations above the rooftops of Munich.
AmCham Germany extends its sincere thanks to KPMG for generously hosting this year’s Summer Barbecue, as well as to all speakers and guests who contributed to the event’s success.
