On February 16, 2026, AmCham Germany hosted the final New Year’s Reception of this year’s season at The English Theatre Frankfurt, welcoming members, friends, and guests from the Rhine-Main region to an evening of exchange and celebration. The reception provided an opportunity to reflect on the start of 2026, discuss key developments in transatlantic business relations, and connect with the vibrant international community of the region.
We were pleased to hear remarks from AmCham Germany President Simone Menne as well as our Regional Chapter Chairs David Knower and Gabriele Haessig. We were especially honored to welcome two distinguished guests: U.S. Consul General Brian Heath from the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt, who shared his insights with our members and friends, and Prof. Dr. Joachim Nagel, President of the Deutsche Bundesbank, who delivered the evening’s keynote speech.
Following the official program, guests enjoyed a networking reception in a festive atmosphere, offering space for personal exchange and further conversations on current trends in transatlantic trade and business.
