On September 1, 2022, AmCham Germany’s Chapter Saxony, chaired by Prof. Dr. Heribert Heckschen, welcomed State Minister Oliver Schenk, Chief of the State Chancellery of Saxony and State Minister for Federal Affairs and Media, and AmCham Germany President Simone Menne at this year’s International Summer Business Barbecue.

AmCham Germany President Simone Menne emphasized in her keynote on the ever increasing importance and strength of transatlantic business relations: "It is crucial that we guarantee reliable investment conditions right now, especially with regard to energy prices, raw material supplies and digitalization. Particularly when it comes to digitalization, we don't need new buzz words but instead action!"

Members and guests from various industries gathered at the Kurländer Palais in the heart of the city of Dresden to enjoy an evening of networking and a lively discussion.

A big thank you to our event partners, eureos gmbh steuerberatungsgesellschaft rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft, Bobcat Bensheim GmbH, The NSH Group, General Atomics Europe, BELCHEM, LBBW, Saxony Trade & Invest, who generously supported this AmCham Germany tradition.
