Earthquake Assistance via the U.S. Commercial Service in Turkey

We are reaching out to you from the U.S. Commercial Service in Türkiye to share how you may help the recovery efforts in the wake of multiple large earthquakes in Southeast Türkiye and Northern Syria on February 6.  The earthquakes of magnitudes 7.7, 7.5, and 6.0 have left cities leveled, with thousands of lives lost and missing. More than 5,500 buildings have collapsed and more than 10,000 are in danger of collapsing. In coordination with the U.S. Department of State, which is coordinating assistance to the Turkish Government, we would like to share with you the following resources to contribute to Türkiye’s disaster recovery.

 How can you help?

  1. You may wish to make a financial donation, which is the quickest and easiest way to get aid to those in need. There are many organizations working to collect donations, including the two listed below. **While we cannot formally endorse these organizations, we know them to be reputable and active in the disaster zones**
  2. Alternatively, you may wish to donate consumer goods/materials/medication supplies.
  3. Certain organizations in the disaster recover field may wish to donate disaster relief technology, equipment, and/or services at scale.
    • Please contact us at and we will liaise with the Turkish government to determine need and logistics.

Every hour counts at this point to save lives. Thank you for your help in advance. For all questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at:

A new report inspired by a year of global conversations with leaders and executives aiming to grow or transform their businesses

The Beat Failure Report shares a collection of data the brand agency Butchershop Global gathered from conversations with brand and business leaders across the globe who are transforming and growing Early-, Mid-, and Late-Stage companies. Out of these thousands of data points around challenges in the market, the global agency created a top ten list of the most critical failure points that can be addressed through brand design and experience.

As ambitious companies lay the path for 2023 strategies and develop plans for success, we hope that these insights support in setting the right priorities for brands aiming to break into emerging markets or break out to lead them.

As an experienced agency partner with HQ in Silicon Valley, Butchershop has been designing brand experiences, transformations, and growth plans since 2008 with fast-growing and transforming companies in the US, Europe and APAC. One thing that Butchershop® Global does differently is talking about failure by design to prevent it from happening.
