Daniel Andrich Appointed as New General Manager of AmCham Germany

Berlin, September 15, 2020 – The selection committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany (AmCham Germany) has concluded the selection process for filling its management position and has selected Daniel Andrich as the new General Manager.

Daniel Andrich has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT) in Washington, DC, since July 2016. In that position, he has promoted transatlantic economic relations and represented the interests of German businesses in Washington, DC. Previously, from 2008 to 2016, Andrich worked for the Federation of German Industries (BDI) as Senior Policy Advisor for Global Governance and Trade Promotion in Berlin. Additionally, from 2013 onwards, he worked as Personal Advisor to the former BDI President, Ulrich Grillo. In 2012, Andrich had already worked as Senior Policy Advisor and Visiting Fellow at the Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT) in Washington, DC. Andrich obtained his Magister Artium in political science at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster.

Andrich is succeeding Eveline Metzen, who joined Google on July 1, 2020 as Director, Government Affairs and Public Policy for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
