On September 13, 2019, Axel Isele, Chair of the AmCham Germany Regional Chapter Rhine-Neckar Triangle, had the pleasure of welcoming Prof. Dr. Karl A. Lamers, MdB, Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of the German Parliament and Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Transatlantic Relations of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, as the speaker at a Summer Jazz BBQ on the terrace of the Heidelberg Marriott Hotel with a view of the Neckar River.
Prof. Karl A. Lamers spoke about our world's political and economic situation with an emphasis on the transatlantic relationship. The speech was followed by an American BBQ for AmCham Germany's guests with the band "Goodlife - A Jazz Trio from Heidelberg" contributing to the atmosphere with a musical arrangement of Swing, Jazz, Blues and Bossa Nova melodies.
