Insights Call on Transatlantic Investments during the Pandemic

With the title “Transatlantic Investment during the Pandemic,” AmCham Germany’s Regional Committee Northern Bavaria hosted an informative Insights Call on foreign direct invements (FDI) on September 30, 2020.

Daniel A. Reck, Vice President International Services at Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, an independent insurance broker based in Newtown, Pennsylvania, and specialized in companies with headquarters in Europe, shared his market observations in the US during the pandemic. He explained what the state of affairs is in the US and what foreign companies are currently facing.

Horst Henschen, Of Counsel in Covington & Burling’s Frankfurt office, and Peter Camesasca, Partner in Covington & Burling’s Brussels office, an internationally leading law firm headquartered in Washington, DC, shared their valuable expertise of investment audits (FDI), new pitfalls in European M&A, trends in FDI screening as well as dangers and risks of FDI effects.
