On Monday, January 15, 2018, AmCham Germany hosted its annual New Year's reception at the InterContinental Düsseldorf. Dr. Alexander Schröder- Frerkes, Regional Commitee Chair in North Rhine-Westphalia, welcomed the attendees before main speaker Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, Minister for Economic affairs in North Rhine -Westphalia, spoke about the challenges and oppurtunities in transatlantic relations in 2018.
AmCham Germany President Bernhard Mattes concluded with a speech discussing the past year in transatlantic relations and for the Chamber, as well as the hopes and expectations for economic relations in the new year.
