On December 12, AmCham Germany hosted a Berlin Lounge with American fiction writer Rebecca Rukeyser who is the recipient of the 2018 Grant for Non-German Literature awarded by the Berlin Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa.
In a festive atmosphere, Torsten Oltmanns, Regional Committee Chair Berlin-Brandenburg, welcomed the guests before Rukeyser read from her novel in progress "Homestead" which was followed by an engaging discussion.
The event was organized in cooperation with the US Embassy Berlin.
