On Monday, February 19, 2018, AmCham Germany hosted a Business Luncheon at the the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof in honor of the German Ambassador to the US, Dr. Peter Wittig.
In front of 100 attendees, Ambassador Wittig spoke about the developments in transatlantic relations in the past year and what future developments might hold. Ambassador Wittig emphasized that the representatives of the German business community are the best communicators of the benefits their companies bring to the US - not only financially, but also in terms of investment in the local communities and workforce training. He urged them to stay engaged on all levels, from local to state and federal government, in deepening transatlantic ties.
