The American Chamber of Commerce in Germany and its Regional Chapter Bavaria cordially invite you to a Business After Hours event at Texas Instruments in Freising on Thursday, November 12, 2026.
On the occassion of Texas Instruments' 60th anniversary in Germany, the evening will explore the contribution of U.S. companies to Bavaria’s development as a leading technology hub and discuss how transatlantic cooperation can strengthen resilience, innovation, and competitiveness in a rapidly changing geopolitical environment.
The program will kick-off with welcome remarks by AmCham Germany Executive Vice President Andreas Schwaiger, Managing Director Germany at Texas Instruments, followed by an impulse by Tobias Gotthardt, State Secretary at the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy and Member of the Bavarian State Parliament. In a subsequent panel discussion, stakeholders from the transatlantic business and political communities in Bavaria will assess transatlantic collaboration as a key driver of Bavaria’s future innovation capacity. The program will conclude with insights from Dr. Maren Roth, Research Associate / Director of the Lasky Archive at LMU München, who will reflect on the role of the United States and American companies in Bavaria’s post-war technological development.
Following the official program, guests will have the opportunity to network and join an exclusive Wafer Fab Window Tour of the Texas Instruments site.
