On November 22, 2018, AmCham Germany invited its members and their families to a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner at the Frankfurt Marriot Hotel. Around 170 guests enjoyed traditional Thanksgiving dishes and lively conversations in a festive atmosphere.
After a welcome speech by Rhine-Main Chapter Chair Dr. Mark Hilgard, René Schulze introduced the Make-A-Wish foundation to the guests of the evening. The carving of the turkey was accompanied by a speech by AmCham Germany member Daniel Hefflebower who shared his childhood memories of Thanksgivings with his family. At this family event, the children were entertained with balloons and enjoyed watching the turkey being cut up close.
