On January 24, 2019, AmCham Germany's Regional Committee Hamburg hosted its annual New Year's Reception. After short introductory remarks by Chapter Chair Dr. Henning C. Schneider, a speech was given by Ingo Zamperoni, Moderator of the "tagesthemen".

In his remarks, Zamperoni touched on the societal, cultural and political dynamics surrounding President Trump's presidency as well as current issues such as the US government shutdown and immigration. Zamperoni closed in saying, "We shouldn't fixate transatlantic relations too much on President Trump."

We would like to thank our host Latham & Watkins as well as our sponsors BDO, Corropro, ExxonMobil and Hamburg Invest for their support!
