On Thursday, May 24, AmCham Germany had the honor of welcoming the Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and hosting a luncheon for him during his visit to Berlin. During the luncheon roundtable, we discussed German investments in Indiana, current developments in US trade policy, shared best practices on education and workforce developments and talked about future cooperation to strengthen the German-Indiana partnership.

Governor Holcomb was accompanied by Secretary of Commerce Schellinger, the Speaker of the Indiana House of Representatives Brian Bosma, Indiana State Senate President Pro Tempore David Long, as well as Senior Staff members of the Governor's and Secretary's offices. The luncheon was joined by our members and colleagues from the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, BDI - Association of German Industries, BVMW - Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, DIHK - Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Indiana University Europe Gateway Office and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
