On Monday, October 16, a small delegation from AmCham Germany met with Armin Laschet, Minister President of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, at the Staatskanzlei in Düsseldorf.
During the Top Level Meeting, Minister President Laschet emphasized the importance of the United States as a key business partner and investor in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Similarly, AmCham Germany President Bernhard Mattes pointed out that despite some current political differences, the majority of AmCham Germany's members have not changed their investment plans for the US market. He also stressed the importance of maintaining transatlantic dialogue.
