Topic: "Global Threats: Geopolitical, Social and Technological Risks Business & Governments Need to Manage"

On February 19, 2019, AmCham Germany's Regional Chapter Berlin-Brandenburg hosted an AmCham Germany Forum with Richard Wike, Director of Global Attitude Research at Pew Research Center, Washington, DC in Berlin.

After a short welcome by Prof. Dr. Torsten Oltmanns, Regional Chapter Chair Berlin-Brandenburg, Richard Wike presented the results of Pew's latest Global Threats Study, which were first presented at the Munich Security Conference.

This was followed by an engaged panel discussion under the topic "Global Threats: Geopolitical, Social and Technological Risks Business & Governments Need to Manage". Richard Wike was joined by panelists Stefan Borst, Partner, IDA Group and Head of IDA Brussels - EU Commission Office; Jan F. Kallmorgen, CEO, Berlin Global Advisors; and Dr. Christoph Schwegmann, Senior Defence Advisor, Policy Planning Staff, Federal Foreign Office. The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Torsten Oltmanns, Regional Chapter Chair Berlin-Brandenburg, AmCham Germany.
