On March 13, 2019, AmCham Germany's Regional Chapter Berlin-Brandenburg hosted a new event format, the AmCham Germany AI Forum, with Dr. Kenji Takeda, Director of Health and AI Partnerships, Microsoft Research, Cambridge, UK and Inga Bergen, Managing Director/CEO, Magnosco in Berlin.
After a brief welcome by Lennart Wetzel, Manager Government Affairs, Microsoft Deutschland and Prof. Dr. Torsten Oltmanns, Regional Committee Chair Berlin-Brandenburg, Dr. Kenji Takeda presented how AI is revolutionizing the healthcare sector via livestream. A short discussion was followed by Inga Bergen's speech on how Magnosco is specifically using AI to revolutionize the early detection of skin cancer. This, again, was followed by a talk with the participants.
