The Transatlantic Business Committee pursues the overall Chamber goal of achieving unrestricted trade and investment between the United States and Germany, particularly focusing on reducing the remaining nontariff barriers. The committee brings together US and German political leaders to meet with representatives from prominent US and German firms to discuss current transatlantic business issues. The committee plays a leading role in the Chamber’s efforts to support the work of the Transatlantic Economic Council and its success.
