Transatlantic Business Committee

The Transatlantic Business Committee pursues the overall Chamber goal of achieving unrestricted trade and investment between the United States and Germany by focusing on the substance of the German-American relationship. The Committee brings leading figures in American and German politics together with representatives from prominent American and German firms to discuss current transatlantic business issues. The Committee plays a leading role in the Chamber’s efforts to support and lead to success the Transatlantic Economic Initiative.

Mission

  • Promote unrestricted trade and investment between the United States and Germany / reduce the remaining non-tariff barriers
  • Advise member companies on US policy developments
