Members of the Corporate Responsibility Committee discuss first draft on non-financial reporting

Berlin: On April 14, 2016, Members of AmCham Germany’s Corporate Responsibility Committee met with Dr. Hans-Joachim Schabedoth, MdB, SPD-Bundestagsfraktion, to discuss the CSR-Reporting-Directive. Member States have to transpose the rules on non-financial reporting into national legislation until the end of the year. Dr. Schabedoth, who is the responsible rapporteur in the Committee on Economic Affairs and Energy, discussed the current first draft by the Bundesministerium der Justiz und für Verbraucherschutz (BMJV) with the representatives of AmCham Germany’s member companies. The Corporate Responsibility Committee developed a position paper on the transposition of the CSR-Reporting-Directive into national law.
