On the morning of November 26, 2013, AmCham Germany hosted a Parliamentary Breakfast to welcome and greet the new members of the German Bundestag at the prestigious Deutsche Parlamentarische Gesellschaft.
After an introduction and welcome by General Manager Andreas Povel, the Chairs of AmCham Germany’s Policy Committees presented their key positions and recommendations.
These focused in particular on TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership), environmental and energy issues, developments in the telecommunications, internet and media sectors, tax regulations and corporate responsibility.
The breakfast concluded with a highly stimulating and fruitful discussion.
AmCham Germany wishes all newly-elected members of the German Bundestag a successful tenure and looks forward to maintaining the dialogue over the coming years.
