AmCham Germany’s CR Committee discusses German Sustainability Strategy

Dr. Stefan Bauernfeind from the German Chancellery talks about the implementation of 2030 Agenda

Berlin: On 13 June, 2016 members of AmCham Germany’s CR Committee met with Dr. Stefan Bauernfeind, Head of Division “Sustainable Development” in the German Chancellery, to discuss the draft of the new German Sustainability Strategy. In 2015, the global community agreed on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, including its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The German Sustainability Strategy constitutes the main framework for implementing the 2030 Agenda and the SDGS in Germany. Dr. Bauernfeind stressed the importance of the role of business in the implementation process.
