AmCham Germany Interns visit the German capital

On June 23 and 24, our interns from the US-German Internship Program held their annual get-together in Berlin.

During this event, they had the opportunity to visit the US Embassy in Berlin to discuss German-American relations. Afterwards, they were guided through the German Bundestag by Peter Beyer, MdB.

In May, the 21 students arrived in Germany and started their three-month internships. The US-German internship was founded in 2009 by AmCham Germany and the international law firms BridgehouseLaw LLP and Rückel & Collegen. Its mission is to connect American students with German companies in order to create a positive image of Germany among future generations of Americans. Since its foundation, roughly 170 students from the Southeastern United States have completed a three-month internship at German companies in multiple industries. The program is proudly supported by Hannelore Kraft, Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia and John B. Emerson, US Ambassador to Germany.
