Business After Hours (short: BAH)

Since 1995, AmCham Germany has been organizing successful BAH events. Companies utilize the Business After Hours format to present themselves to a group of the region’s leading professionals coming from AmCham member companies, as well as other business people interested in our activities.

Through Business After Hours, AmCham Germany offers:

  • a platform for AmCham Germany members for networking, socializing, cultural integration, exchanging ideas, knowledge and just getting to know different companies or people
  • a stage for AmCham Germany member companies to present themselves, their products and concepts while providing insight into current market trends or business activities

Business After Hours Across Germany

There are Business After Hours events in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart. If you are interested in organizing an event in any one of these cities, please let us know and we will put you in contact with our BAH representative in that city.

Presenting your company

Usually, about 20-40 participants attend our BAH events. The participants are professionals from AmCham Germany member companies, as well as other business executives interested in our activities. The events are organized jointly by the BAH Committee and the sponsoring company and AmCham Germany is responsible for the distribution of invitations and the registration of guests. The sponsoring company’s responsibility consists of three main parts: 

  • identification of a presentation topic, 
  • finding and reserving a room with a capacity to fit 20-40 people, and 
  • arranging food and refreshments to be offered before and after the presentation. 

BAH event presentations are typically given by senior leaders or department heads and are followed by a question and answer session. The reception afterwards gives the speakers and other company employees the opportunity to mingle and network with other professionals from different AmCham Germany member companies in the area.
